Student Involvement in partnership with the Center for the Arts presents Mason Unplugged featuring Mary Lambert

Fairfax, VA. Student Involvement has partnered with The Center for the Arts to bring back our Mason Unplugged Concert Series Featuring Mary Lambert on Thursday, April 2nd 2015 at 8pm, at the Center for the Arts located on the George Mason University Fairfax campus, 4400 University Drive, Fairfax VA 22030.

Opening up the show is Clark Kelly an up and coming pop singer/songwriter from Nashville TN. Then our headliner Mary Lambert will take the stage. Mary Lambert is a Grammy nominated singer/songwriter and spoken word artist from Seattle. After gaining international attention for writing and singing the hook on Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ double platinum’ “Same Love,” Mary’s career as a solo artist continues to gain tremendous momentum. She performed with Madonna at the 2014 Grammys and her debut solo single, “She Keeps Me Warm” reached #2 on the iTunes singer/songwriter chart and was a Top- 20 hit at Hot AC radio. Capitol Records issued her EP, Welcome to the Age of My Body, last December and recently released Mary’s first full length record in October of 2014, Heart On My Sleeve. The album’s first single, “Secrets,” quickly became a top-15 record on the Adult Pop Chart.

Student tickets are $10, 2 per ID, Faculty and Staff tickets are $15, 2 per ID, and General Public tickets are $20. Tickets are on sale now at the Center for the Arts Box Office and in the Student Involvement Office on the George Mason University Fairfax Campus.
