I am so excited to spotlight Something Vintage today! They have such an amazing collection of items you can rent for your next event. We’ve been able to work with them multiple times and can’t say enough good things about the company! Make sure you check out all of their gorgeous inventory when planning your next event.

How did you get started in your business?

Dawn Crothers started Something Vintage Rentals back in 2013 when she was collecting vintage china and chairs for her own wedding! Her wedding was published on a couple local blogs and people started inquiring if they could rent the vintage china for their own wedding.

What’s your favorite part of your involvement with events?

Spreading joy through our one-of-a-kind rentals.

What sets your business apart from others in your industry?

We believe in sustainability – giving new life to old pieces and creating opportunities for local makers. That’s why we build and craft much of our inventory in-house. We believe in the inherent beauty in handmade and vintage items, and we put our blood, sweat, and tears into each and every piece we design.

Do you have a favorite event that you’ve done or a favorite theme?

Last year, we helped design an iridescent rainbow for our clients Cara and Drew at the Four Seasons. You can read more about it HERE

What is your favorite event trend right now?
Maximalism / not being afraid to mix and match patterns.

What is your best piece of advice for people planning an event?
Investing in a wedding/event planner is a game changer. They help you create a cohesive design that reflects the couple’s personality and allow them to be able to relax and enjoy the planning process!

What questions should potential customers ask someone in your field?

When planning their event, don’t be afraid to ask us what pairs nicely together or send over an inspo picture! We have over 3,000 items in our inventory and love to give suggestions or create mock-ups for our clients so they can visualize it better!

Anything else you want our readers to know?

Don’t be afraid to include color in your wedding or event!
