10 Amazing Little Boy Birthday Themes

10

My little guy just had his half birthday.  I can’t believe he’s already 6 months.  This gets me thinking about what I should do for his first birthday.  So I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite little boy birthday party themes to look through as I plan and as a helpful tool for all of my readers planning little boy birthdays.

Camping Theme
This is one for my husband who loves camping, hiking, and BBQing.  Kids can make s’mores you can serve hot dogs and hamburgers and play fun camping games!  Boys and Girls will enjoy attending a party with this theme. You can use pretzel sticks as logs for lots of fun treats and decorations and all of those camping supplies you have laying around can certainly come in handy here!

Cowboy Theme

Cowboy themes are easy to do if you have an access to a farm where hay is plentiful.  If not you can still achieve this look with cowboy hats and bandana’s which can be purchased pretty inexpensively on websites like Oriental Trading.  Cow print material found at fabric stores also makes a great addition as seat covers or table runners.

Lego Theme

The Lego theme is so easy to DIY it’s crazy! It helps that Lego bricks are such a simple shape that is easy to replicate.  They are also so popular so there is a lot out there to chose from.  Buzzfeed has come up with an amazing list of DIY Lego Party ideas that I highly recomend!

Dinosaur Theme

Just like the construction theme, if your chid is into dinosaurs then you probably have quite a few laying around the house ready to be used for decoration.  The dinosaur theme also leaves itself to a lot of fun food ideas that you can use in your decor.

Transportation Theme

Covering a wall in wrapping paper is a great way to make a back drop for this fun theme, and using cut outs of different transportation means makes for an even better one!  It is easy to find signs online that you can print out and make into fun signs around your party.  And you can  use your children’s toys as additional decorations.

Cutting the Guest List in Minutes

Cutting The Guest List in Minutes

Do you have a big event coming up?  A Wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Baby Shower. or even a birthday party?  Well then you might need help with your guest list!  Whether a party for 150 or 20 there is always a master list created of who’d you like to invite and then it’s time to pair that list down.  Above is a basic template to help you cut down that list!  There are two accepting to this chart I would like to point out though.  If your boss or a certain family member would be offended by being left off the guest list regardless of the last time you spoke with them or the amount of time you spend together outside of work invite them.  Those are two relationships you don want to mess with!

30th Birthday Trivia Game

30th-birthday-trivia

I was supposed to spend my 30th Birthday celebrating with a picnic on the National Mall.  Sadly, weather didn’t agree that I should hold my party outside and thus I had to have it indoors again this year…  So I had to quickly come up with some games for everyone to play inside.  I couldn’t rely on frisbee tossing, monument looking, and everyone taking walks in the cherry blossoms to fill the time.  I decided to create a trivia game of facts from the thirty years of my life.  There were four different categories: Oscar Winners, Most Watched TV Shows, Sports, Random, and Music.   I also included some fun dollar store prizes for the winners. The game was timed and I let people work in pairs.

If you want to check it out I sell it in my Etsy Shop. If you would like your own version with your images or different questions I can certainly do that for you for a base rate of $25.  If you are interested please contact me through my Etsy Page if you’re interested in a personalized version of this game.  If you have someone celebrating their 50th Birthday I also have a game for that!
