Here is a very simple banner you can make at home for your next birthday party! I made
this one this past weekend for my Dad’s 60th Birthday!
Supplies:
- 2 bowls of different sizes
- construction or scrapbook paper
- glue or tape
- scissors
- markers
- pencil
- hole puncher
- ribbon
Step 1:
Cut the number of circles you need for what ever word you are writing by tracing the small bowl with your pencil and cutting the construction paper.
Step 2:
Cut the number of circles you need for what ever word you are writing by tracing the larger bowl with your pencil and cutting the construction paper.
Step 3:
Glue the smaller circle onto the larger circle.
Next draw each letter on each of the small circles. Because I used so many different colors I tried to make sure no two same colors were next to one another. If you are doing a solid color pattern, just try to keep it consistent.
Step 5
Punch two holes in the top of each circle so that you can string your ribbon threw the top.
Step 6:
String each letter in order on your ribbon making sure each one is proportionate and looks straight. If not quickly supplement with a new circle.
Step 7:
Hang your Birthday Banner and Enjoy!
