Wedding Father/Daughter and Mother/Son Dance Songs

You’ve planned out all the details.  You event have your song picked out for you and your new spouse to dance to (if you haven’t CLICK HERE).  It’s time to plan what the first song you are your parent will dance to!

For some this is an easy decision there is a song that already has special meaning to you. But there are more people involved in making this decision than when you were trying to pick out the song you and your spouse were going to dance to, especially if you are choosing to do the father/daughter dance simultaneously with the mother/son dance.   For my wedding my husband and his mother chose not to do a dance but my father and I still danced.  We picked the song that we’d been dancing to for years ever since I was a little girl, one that had a very special place in our hearts: Elvis Presley singing only I Can’t Help Falling in Love with You

To make it all easier for you I have a list of 60 songs to peruse with links so you can hear them and read the lyrics; because, I know you really want to make sure the song works for you! Click the link to hear the songs and read the lyrics.
