Are you having a summer BBQ party with friends and family? 4th of July and Canada Day are this weekend and it is time to prepare! I scoward the internet to find some items you might want to check out for your summer BBQ!
This fun condiments carrier looks cute and will also keep your items cool in the warm summer sun. I found this item on Amazon for $22.99 but you might be able to do some more shopping around too. Amazon says this chilled condiments caddy with built-in “cooler” for ice, keeps condiments deliciously fresh and cool. Durable plastic condiment caddy’s 5 removable compartments serves sauces, condiments and cocktail garnishes; bottom section holds ice for easy chilling. Hinged lid shields contents from air and insects; side handles allow easy transport. 14 1/2″L x 5 1/2″W x 4″D overall; each compartment is 5 3/4″L x 2 7/8″W. I think it looks pretty amazing and I wish I had one for my last BBQ. I think I might get one for my next! It makes things look classier and not only can it be used for BBQ’s as the second image shows you can also have it out on your bar for your drink dressings as well for cocktail hour.
The weather is nice out and if you are BBQing outside it’s always good to keep your guests entertained with more than just the food. Games are always a fun way to keep guests entertained and on this previous post I discuss some of my favorite outdoor games! What are your favorite summer BBQ games?
Everyone needs a BBQ kit to do the actual cooking and I’m not picking one kit over another though I did find this one that comes with it’s own case on Bed Bath and Beyonds website. I’m not advocating for one over the other. And to be perfectly open to all of my readers I should let you know I go to the BBQ for the sides not the main meal, as I’m a vegetarian who is not a fan of fake meat! But I do support the BBQ atmosphere and the reason people go to a BBQ the meat.
If your BBQ is in the evening or your home is known for it’s mosquito population it’s time to get some protection from the bugs! Citronella candles and oil is a plant-based insect repellent that has been used for YEARS to keep away the annoying bugs. You don’t want these little guys ruining your party and it’s really easy and cheap to find some citronella candles out there. This one is from Amazon but you can find them anywhere from Walmart to Pottery Barn depending on how fancy you’d like your candle!
Your BBQ will be outside which means that you need a way to bring out all of your BBQ/picnic supplies. This cute caddy would be a great addition to your BBQ. One problem I always have at my picnics and BBQ’s is that I don’t have enough hands to bring everything down to my picnic area at my home and another problem is that that wind always blows away my napkins! This caddy handles both of those problems.
