Birkby House Wedding Leesburg Virginia

This May, I was lucky enough to be a part of a beautiful rainy day wedding at the Birkby House in Leesburg, Virginia. The Birkby House blends historic charm with sophistication. From the historic home where the couple got ready and guests were welcomed, to the beautifully landscaped patio for the ceremony and cocktail hour, to the stunning conservatory, the whole venue is beautiful.

We were so lucky that the rain held off for the ceremony and didn’t downpour till we were inside for dinner and dancing! Inside the conservatory I decorated the space with custom table numbers and candles provided by the couple and locally grown seasonal flower arrangements by Holmes Grown Flowers who also provided the flowers for the arbor. Inside the Birkby house we decorate with more flowers, candles, and photos of the the couples families. Honey Bee Pastries provided the gorgeous cake to match the decor and stood out as a focal point in the room. Tuscarora Mill handled all of the linens, plates, cups and of course the rest of the catering!

Zandi Entertainment had everyone dancing all night long! They also did an amazing job with the lighting, sound engineering, and even provided the photo booth! And of course I can’t forget the team from Deline Photography who captured the evening so beautifully! I wanted to give a few more shout outs to our other vendors MZ Beauty LLC who covered the make up and hair and District Sitter, LLC who provided babysitting for the littlest guests.
